I've noticed that UBBDev is now using custom user titles.

One of the things I always liked was that everyone had generic titles here. The staff and the masses.

You guys aren't going l33t on us, are you?

Just showing what can be done in the base code...

My avatar is coming off in the next day or so.

Just for giggles, you should change it to add:

Member # 1234
Member # 3
Member # 90210
Member # 666
Member # 1

etc, this way you can confuse people even more when they try to do a search by member number (like anyone ever really does).

The avatar is cool. How many PM's did you get from people asking for one.

surprisingly none have asked for an avatar via pm, either that or I've deleted the pm without opening

I've had that problem in the past as well.

Here's the fix

1. Click on the my profile link
2. Click on the View/Update Profile link
3. Scroll down to the bottom of the page, and locate the Allow members to send you private messages? preference
4. Set the preference radio button to Yes
5. Click on the Update Profile button
6. Wait a few minutes
7. Click on the my profile link again, you will see a list of all of your incoming private messages
8. Next to each message, click the Del? check box...that's what you have to do to deliver the Private Messages.
9. Click the button on the bottom of the page, disregarding the fact that it says, Delete Checked Messages.

How about "Moderator / Whiner"?

I considered that, although Moderator / Oenophile is a nicer way of saying Wino.. I mean winer.

What's really odd is that you have "Moderator" as your custom title, and it's not showing up.

Hmmm...and to think I thought it had to do with the "New Moderator Probationary Period"
